History of Solar modules

The term Solar Modules refers to any device which converts solar energy into electrical energy through the process of photovoltaics. Basically the advancement of solar cell technology started with the 1839 research of Antoine-César Becquerel (French physicist). Becquerel examined the photovoltaic outcome while conducting experiments with a solid electrode in an electrolyte solution when he saw a voltage developed when light drown on the electrode.

He further explained how electricity can be produced from the heat of sunlight. He declared that "bright light on an electrode flooded in a conductive solution would generate an electric current." However, even after a lot study, research and development subsequent to the finding, photovoltaic power sustained to be very incompetent and solar cells were used largely for the purposes of evaluating light.

Over 100 years later, in 1941, Russell Ohl discovered the solar cell, soon after the invention of transistor.
The Commercial Solar Age Begin from year 1954 and continued till 1980s.
Progressive Governments Use Subsidies to Speed Adoption started in the year 1990 and is used till the year 2008.
